Minerva Resource is a non-profit organization that collaborates with pathologists, surgeons, oncologists, and other physicians to carefully collect human tissue samples and blood for use in biomedical research. Such samples are directly used to determine cellular alterations that can be used to detect and/or treat the disease.

Information for Physicians
Minerva Resource focuses on procuring remnant tissue samples that are not required for patient health care and would be otherwise discarded. Minerva has created a specific procurement protocol which ensures that fragile components of the cell - such as RNA, DNA, and protein - are preserved.
